Typography

'Nightspot' was when I was tasked with creating a unique typeface inspired by the exhibition on display at Nottingham Contemporary, Grace Before Jones. The typography took inspiration from the disco aspect of her exhibition, with the circles mimicking the shape of a disco ball. 

The second typography is influenced by the plastic generated by circular shaped 'coffee pods' and bottle lid which is indicated by the circular shapes and colour selected.

The last typography was inspired by the universal recycling sign and uses the distinctive arrows and circulation shown through curving of the letters. The shades of green selected are those associated with the environment and sustainability.
